Welcome

Welcome to my new blog.

I am a horseback rider, which pretty much defines who I am. My best friend once said "if you didn't have horses in your life anymore for some reason, I don't think I'd want to know you." I've been riding for about 25 years, mostly in the hunter and equitation divisions. I was a "pony pro" in my junior days. I was under 5' tall until college, so I was a catch rider in the pony hunter ring until I aged out. I also rode sale horses in the junior hunter and equitation divisions. I competed in the IHSA for NC State University, where all my catch riding certainly paid off! I can't afford any horses of my own, so I still catch ride and train green horses and ponies.

I recently relocated from my beloved home in North Carolina to Colorado. I work in signal intelligence and I am finishing my MS degree through NC State, my cherished alma mater.


This blog is intended to be a photoblog of my recent adventures in life. I will try not to vent, whine, and stress too much in my posts ... after all, as you will see in the pictures, I have countless blessings in my life!
